If you child has a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, please see our Ontario Autism Program page for details on the current funding model for children with ASD.

ABA is a science-based therapy that aims to increase behaviours that are helpful, and decrease behaviours that are harmful or have a negative impact on learning.  ABA can be useful for many children with special needs, but seems especially helpful in increasing communication skills, as well as diminishing target challenging behaviours.

If you have direct funding, or are looking to hire a private provider for Applied Behaviour Analysis, please see the ABACUS directory, which is maintained by Autism Ontario.  This website also includes useful information about what to look for in a service provider, and the basics of what ABA is.
